The most unforgettable event in my life

I have a lot of unforgettable events in my life. The most unforgettable one is the tour that I went to Kenting National Park with my family for two days.

We had good weather these days. The sky was high and blue. My father took us to Kenting by car. We were stuck on the free way because an accident happened on the way there. It took us a long time because of traffic jam. We all slept in the car except my father. He was so painstaking but he did not complain about it. Finally, we arrived in Kenting National Park. First, we went to check in at the hotel. We lunched in a restaurant. After that, we had fun at the beach. The scenery was good. We went surfing and swimming in water. What fun we had!! And then we had a delicious dinner. We went back to the hotel in the end.

On the second day of the tour, after we check out the hotel first, we ate brunch at midday. We visited National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. We could see plenty of displays. There were many shows that a man fed the fish in water. And then we had dinner. When we were leaving the museum, we saw the place was very crowded there. We felt curious so we approached them. And we found that it was a live telecast. We were so excited about that!

In this tour, I felt very happy. I very much enjoyed these days. I hope I could travel abroad with my family someday!!

Labor education

Labor education is necessary for freshmen at Chaoyang University of Technology. What is the labor education? Labor education means cleaning the campus. Labor education is a compulsory subject. If you failed in this subject, you have to clean the campus again next year till you pass it.

If I do not have class in the afternoon, I will stay in the dormitory. And then I have to go to the farthest building to do my clean job on the campus at 5:30. Sometimes I do not stay at school, but I have come back to do the bloody clean job. Actually, it makes me feel annoyed and bored. Although the clean job is easy, I still think it really wastes my time. However, I sometimes doubt why I have to do the labor education. Maybe the purpose of the labor education is used to clean. However, I suppose the other reason is that they did not have enough money to employ the laborers so they ask freshmen to do it. We can make friends by the labor education, which is the only one advantage.

Although the labor education is annoying, it’s important to keep a clean environment. It’s so poor for freshmen to do this. Fortunately, I am going to be a sophomore!!

Journal 2

Many people like to take photos because taking pictures is an interesting thing. The camera can record life and take of many pictures about scenery, art, life and so on. When you traveled, you could record everything that happened on your traveling by camera. You can take pictures anywhere in life. Taking pictures can increase a lot of amusements in our life so camera is really a good invention.

The saying goes: The camera never lies. Nevertheless, Computer had been developed a lot nowadays. Photos sometimes lies. Although these photos were pretty, it was unreal and artificial. However, many celebrities’ pictures were very beautiful in magazines. In fact, these pictures may be altered. In my opinion, it was not good behavior because many people confused true with false in these pictures.

In sum, the cameras are a good thing. It has many functions such as taking a picture. Taking pictures is really interesting. However, modifying photos is a bad thing.

Paparazzi

The noun, Paparazzi, is from Italy. It was created in Italy 1958. A director who is Italian made a movie about paparazzi in 1960. This investigative style was developed in Hong Kong.

It’s different from Journalists. Journalists mean reporting the news. The paparazzi mean prying about celebrities’ private matters and gossips to entertain the people. Many people hated the paparazzi because they invaded the famous people’s privacies.

The paparazzi affected the society a lot. Some of the effects were negative. First the celebrities were deprived of their privacies. Second it’s dangerous to chase the celebrities such as Princess Diana. Third the paparazzi always made news, instead of reporting news. Some of the effects were positive. The positive things that everyone had the authority to know what happened. In addition, it could satisfy some people’s pastime.

I think the paparazzi should be stopped because they seriously interfered with celebrities’ privacies. Although the paparazzi had some contribution to the society, I still think so. ” I cannot understand how people can become so overly possessed with movie stars and their children. I honestly can't see why people care whether Brad and Angelina have a boy or girl or monkey. I mean, there are so many important issues facing our world: Why give your thoughts or your attention to them. I say leave them alone to their privacy.” Gloria Pence, Irvine, California said. There is logic in what she says. I agree with her words. There are many important problems in the world. We have to solve it, instead of paying attention to them.

To sum up, the paparazzi are bad but useful. It’s essential for us to get news and information. On the other hand, they can entertain people because everyone likes gossip. In spite of they often make celebrities very vexatious.

My first winter vacation in college

The winter vacation was long but when the school semester begun made me feel the winter vacation was short. In the beginning, I sometimes went shopping and went to see a movie with my friends. We also went to eat tasty food. I wanted to find a job originally in the winter vacation but I didn’t find any jobs. It was so bad!!!!! I never do the part time job. I wanted to earn money by myself.

I travelled Kaohsiung from end to end with my friends on February 2th and 3th. There were fourteen people during this trip. We Just like a graduated tour!!! Haha!! I really enjoy it. We are family!!

During Chinese New Year I got some red envelopes. It was the happiest thing in Chinese New Year and I could eat a lot of delicious food, too. I went to Yilan with my family and belongings. We bought a lot of specialties such as Beef tongue cake, Smoked and Corned Duck Meet, custard apple, Mochi, preserved fruit, and so on.

I had the good vacation because I went to a lot of good locations. It was so funny, especially travels. I very expect the summer vacation!!^^

Backpacking travel and Tour travel trip

It’s very important for people to travel in the world. Nowadays, more and more people enjoy taking a trip aboard. Traveling is a good thing. It can make friends with foreigners from different countries, broaden yours knowledge and expand what you could see and make you acquaint with various cultures etc…

There are two ways you can choose to travel, such as backpacking travel and tour travel trip. Backpacking travel means people take a trip by themselves. It’s very free because time is up to you. But you have to arrange the journey by yourself. Tour travel trip is that people take a trip with guide. If you lazed to arrange the journey by yourself, you can choose tour travel trip. They can plan the journey so you just enjoy the trip and relax yourself. The drawback is that you can’t go anywhere if you want to stay.

Finally, if you want to see a lot of scenic spots, you can choose tour travel trip. If you tent to take a deep trip, you can choose backpacking travel. The most important of all, you should be safe when you take a trip.
