Many people like to take photos because taking pictures is an interesting thing. The camera can record life and take of many pictures about scenery, art, life and so on. When you traveled, you could record everything that happened on your traveling by camera. You can take pictures anywhere in life. Taking pictures can increase a lot of amusements in our life so camera is really a good invention.

The saying goes: The camera never lies. Nevertheless, Computer had been developed a lot nowadays. Photos sometimes lies. Although these photos were pretty, it was unreal and artificial. However, many celebrities’ pictures were very beautiful in magazines. In fact, these pictures may be altered. In my opinion, it was not good behavior because many people confused true with false in these pictures.

In sum, the cameras are a good thing. It has many functions such as taking a picture. Taking pictures is really interesting. However, modifying photos is a bad thing.

Paparazzi

The noun, Paparazzi, is from Italy. It was created in Italy 1958. A director who is Italian made a movie about paparazzi in 1960. This investigative style was developed in Hong Kong.

It’s different from Journalists. Journalists mean reporting the news. The paparazzi mean prying about celebrities’ private matters and gossips to entertain the people. Many people hated the paparazzi because they invaded the famous people’s privacies.

The paparazzi affected the society a lot. Some of the effects were negative. First the celebrities were deprived of their privacies. Second it’s dangerous to chase the celebrities such as Princess Diana. Third the paparazzi always made news, instead of reporting news. Some of the effects were positive. The positive things that everyone had the authority to know what happened. In addition, it could satisfy some people’s pastime.

I think the paparazzi should be stopped because they seriously interfered with celebrities’ privacies. Although the paparazzi had some contribution to the society, I still think so. ” I cannot understand how people can become so overly possessed with movie stars and their children. I honestly can't see why people care whether Brad and Angelina have a boy or girl or monkey. I mean, there are so many important issues facing our world: Why give your thoughts or your attention to them. I say leave them alone to their privacy.” Gloria Pence, Irvine, California said. There is logic in what she says. I agree with her words. There are many important problems in the world. We have to solve it, instead of paying attention to them.

To sum up, the paparazzi are bad but useful. It’s essential for us to get news and information. On the other hand, they can entertain people because everyone likes gossip. In spite of they often make celebrities very vexatious.

My first winter vacation in college

The winter vacation was long but when the school semester begun made me feel the winter vacation was short. In the beginning, I sometimes went shopping and went to see a movie with my friends. We also went to eat tasty food. I wanted to find a job originally in the winter vacation but I didn’t find any jobs. It was so bad!!!!! I never do the part time job. I wanted to earn money by myself.

I travelled Kaohsiung from end to end with my friends on February 2th and 3th. There were fourteen people during this trip. We Just like a graduated tour!!! Haha!! I really enjoy it. We are family!!

During Chinese New Year I got some red envelopes. It was the happiest thing in Chinese New Year and I could eat a lot of delicious food, too. I went to Yilan with my family and belongings. We bought a lot of specialties such as Beef tongue cake, Smoked and Corned Duck Meet, custard apple, Mochi, preserved fruit, and so on.

I had the good vacation because I went to a lot of good locations. It was so funny, especially travels. I very expect the summer vacation!!^^
